Let’s face it, language can be hard. Some of us struggle with our native tongue on a day-to-day basis. Sometimes we struggle with a word without knowing there is a struggle to be had. That has certainly been a problem for one of the world’s most iconic auto manufactures, Porsche, and after 85 years of existence, the German carmaker wants to school the public with some proper pronunciation.
Porsche took to YouTube with a brief, but important, message. This isn’t a flashy car commercial with a luxury Porsche 911 cruising a canyon road. It is a simple 15-second ad that breaks down their name so that any of us who might have flunked out of German 101 can finally say “Porsche” the way it was meant to be said.
