The holidays can be a stressful time for travel, especially when paired with crowded airports and cancelled flights, but passengers at the Cologne Bonn Airport got a break from it all earlier this month when a flashmob brought some holiday cheer with a medley of Christmas carols.
German broadcasting group WDR organized the event that brought smiles and tears of joy to both passengers and airport employees as the disguised opera singers filled the terminal with song.
“Singing makes people happy, as our Christmas flashmob that was really well received by viewers shows. Many on Facebook said it brought tears to their eyes,” said WDR editor Holger Cappell.
