The German-American Steuben Parade of New York once again hosted the annual Miss German-America pageant to a packed house at the Reichenbach Hall in Manhattan on Sunday, and crowned Samantha Hart of Bethel, CT with the title for 2015.
Hart, who is fluent in German and recently began working for an advertising and communications firm in Connecticut after receiving her bachelor’s degree from Fairfield University, will make appearance throughout the greater New York area as well as ride the “Queen’s Float” along Fifth Avenue during the Steuben Parade in NYC on September 19.
During the ceremony, Hart’s Steuben Parade court were also announced, including two princesses: Catherine Hatten, formerly of Columbus, OH and now living in Manhattan, NY, and Rebecca Koehler, a resident of North Bergen, NJ. Hatten is a former Fullbright Scholar and currently works for the American Council on German as a Program Assistant. Miss Koehler, an aspiring photographer, also packs plenty of accomplishments herself, including placing first in the National Youth Gathering in 2013.

Also added to the court was Christien Hubert, the 2015 Junior General von Steuben and four junior princesses: Summer Hubert, Kristina Petzold, Devan McCarthy and Jalessia Glebke.
