America’s largest, and possibly most iconic, women’s lingerie store, Victoria’s Secret, has just recently made its debut in Germany. There is a catch however; it is only accessible to travels at Hamburg Airport. If Germans want to browse the shelves of this new mini-store, they will have to book a flight out of Hamburg Airport first.
This traveler-focused store will feature more beauty products and accessories instead of the famous lingerie section found at the larger American Victoria’s Secret locations. Items such as cosmetics cases, multi-use fashion bags, passport holders, scarves, and sunglasses will also be prominently displayed for women travelers. There will be a small selection of lingerie available for those who were in a rush to pack though.
It is unclear whether Germans outside of the airport will see any locations appear anytime soon, but the airport store is being run by Nuance Group, a company that specializes in operating airport retail locations. In the meantime, German shoppers will have to stick to the high costs of international shipping to get their hands on the American retailer’s products.
