The German capital city of Berlin is the country’s second most populated city and has grown into a creative hub for both Germany and Europe. With all the creative types and media-centric business in the city, it is a little surprising that Apple does not have one of their famous stores in Berlin. That is until now…
Early next month, Apple will be opening one of their high volume stores in the heart of Berlin, making it the 11th store in Germany for the American tech company. Workers began removing the scaffolding yesterday afternoon that covered the new location that will be located inside the an old movie theatre in the Ku’damm 26 district, and it appears that Apple retained the architectural beauty of the building.
The Ku’damm district is known as Berlin’s wealthiest shopping areas, so it should come to no surprise that Apple chose this location. For those of you that may be familiar with the area, the new Berlin Apple Store is located directly across from the Hard Rock Cafe.
