Book Giveaway: Wings of Desire — Angels of Berlin

Wings of Desire — Angels of Berlin is the latest book about to be released by Berlinca, and we are giving away a free copy to one lucky winner on German Pulse. This 100 page, full picture book, features the many eye-catching angel sculptures found throughout the city of Berlin. Written by Lothar Heinke, a reporter for Berlin’s leading daily paper Tagesspiegel, offers a historical description of each sculpture.

Already set to be released in English and German, Berlinica is is looking for funding to help translate the book in 5 additional languages. Choosing to crowdsource the funding, Berlinica has created a Kickstarter campaign to raise $1,000 for the project by December 20th.

  • Only one entry on Facebook and Twitter is allowed per person. Users found using multiple accounts or creating repeated entries will be disqualified.
  • Contest is open to legal residents of the United States only.
  • The Facebook comment and/or Tweet must be made before December 9, 2012 11:59 PM Eastern Standard Time.
  • The winner, which will be selected at random, will be notified on Facebook or Twitter (whichever was used for the winning entry) and must claim the prize within 7 days of the first notification. If the winner fails to respond, a new winner will be selected.
