The traditional brown paper bag is a common item in many school and work lunchrooms across America, and when we’re done with our lunches, we typically throw the bag in the trash. However, German designer Jil Sander has just released a brown paper bag that you’ll want to make sure doesn’t find its way into the garbage since it has a hefty price tag of $290.
The Vasari doesn’t look much different from your normal brown paper bag, but it is made from a special high-durability coated paper with stitched seams and metal eyelets that help for ventilation. You wouldn’t want a pricey designer bag smelling like yesterday’s leftovers would you? Other than that, the design is very minimal and may not stand out too much from the non-designer lunch bags out there.
If you want to make more of a statement with your lunch bag, there is a black leather coated bag in the same design for a much higher price of $630. At least with the black leather you won’t have to worry about mixing it up with someone’s plain paper bag.
