Featured Video: Angela Merkel Trying to Find Berlin On A Map

By Stephen Fuchs on Email @StephenWFuchs

This video has been circulating online the last few weeks and I couldn’t resist sharing it on German Pulse.  Angela Merkel was taking part in a geography lesson while visiting an International European school in Berlin, and while she was with the teacher in front of a map, Merkel was asked to point out where Berlin was located.  Being the Chancellor of Germany, you would think that Merkel would have no problem pointing out the country’s capital.  In an embarrassing move, Angela Merkel points to an area in Russia instead.  Check out the video below, in German, to see for yourself.  A shorter version, with English subtitles, is also included.
