Sock Implants for the Skinny Lederhosen Wearer

By Stephen Fuchs on Email @StephenWFuchs

Any man who has skinny legs may know that the lack of bulging calves causes some issues when wearing the socks that go with their lederhosen.  Thankfully the German designer, Herbert Lipah, has designed a Wonderbra for the sock industry.  The “Wadlwadl” (German for calf on calf) is a chicken-fillet type implant that can be placed inside calf portion of the sock to create the illusion of well-formed calves.  Now if you are lacking bulky calves, you can celebrate Oktoberfest with confidence knowing that your socks won’t be sliding down to your ankles.  Hundreds of these implants are sold every year before Oktoberfest, so the next time you see a man with nice bulky calves under his socks, they might not be real.
