More and more Germans are saying goodbye to the meat-based products that their country is culturally known for, and instead moving to plant-based foods as the younger generation is largely adhering to a vegan lifestyle. So what becomes of the meaty brats, goulash and schnitzel?

Vegan food blogger Carolyn Fortuna wrote about her newfound revelation of this German cultural shift during German food night on recent cruise trip and decided to dive into why and how the country has dominated the vegan food market.
