Adorable Easter Bunny Origin Story Explains the Egg

Historians believe that the creation of the Easter Bunny occurred in Germany during the Middle Ages, and the Easter egg was added to the mix sometime in the 17th century. But we have all at some point asked why the Easter Bunny is laying eggs. Bunnies don’t produce eggs.

Well, thanks to a new German ad for discount grocer Netto, we finally have an answer to the age-old question, and it is totally adorable.
