LINK’D: Bridge Blown to Pieces Over German Autobahn

There is going to be a bit of a chaotic rush hour for motorists traveling along Germany’s A8 near the town of Sindelfingen after a stretch of the Autobahn has been shut down following a controlled explosion blowing a pedestrian bridge to pieces.

It may be a nightmare for anyone relying on that stretch or highway, but on the plus side, some amazing photos were taken mid-explosion, along with a more chilling photo of the smoking rubble.
