Dramatic Video Shows Planes Struggle to Land As Storm Katie Hits Düsseldorf

An aviation enthusiast, Cargospotter, saw an opportunity to capture some chilling footage of planes struggling to make a safe landing in Düsseldorf as Storm Katie blew her way through Europe.

Reaching wind speeds of 60 miles an hour, many airports had planes diverting to less windy locations, but those flying into Düsseldorf fought the battling conditions and led to some pretty dramatic video.

After watching the video that was posted to YouTube, it should come to no surprise that some passengers had quite a scare as they came in for a bumpy landing.
