Want to win a round-trip ticket to Germany or an iPad mini?  The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) has announced their “Your Pin-Up Germany!” contest where, with the use of Pinterest, US or Canadian students enrolled full-time in a university can win one of those great prizes or a one-year subscription to German World magazine.  The idea is to create a Pinterest Pinboard with twenty photos that capture your own idea of Germany.

DAAD asks “What are the images that lead you to Germany either through intellectual associations or lived experience?” and wants entrants to come up with a theme that visually represents your own Germany.  Your Pinboard on Pinterest should be titled with your theme, which can be a single word or phrase in either English or German, but must remain a secret board.  Once you send a guest link to the private board the DAAD, and they approve it as an official entry, you will be able to open it up for the world to see.

Head on over to the official contest entry page to see the full list of requirements and enter by April 22, 2013 for your chance to win.  First prize is a round-trip ticket to Germany, second prize is an iPad mini, and third prize is a one-year subscription to German World magazine.
