How You Can Help the Victims of Hurricane Sandy

By Stephen Fuchs on Email @StephenWFuchs

Hurricane Sandy hit the East Coast early last week and millions of people are now without power, food, and shelter.  Many of our readers were affected by the devastation and we want to make sure that the proper efforts are in place to provide for those in need.

If you live in or near one of the affected areas and have been fortunate enough not too have been hit too hard by the storm, please consider volunteering your time to help those in need.  Information on how you can volunteer can be found on your State’s official website.  We have heard from several of our readers who have been giving their time to help in relief efforts, and we are extremely grateful for the work they are doing.

For those who are unable to volunteer their time, one of the best ways you can help is with a donation to the American Red Cross.  The American Red Cross is giving the necessary aid to many of the victims of Hurricane Sandy and they would be grateful for any donation amount you can provide.  Please consider following the link to the American Red Cross donation site located in the source link below.
