Deutsche Welle Provides a 5 Minute In-Depth Look at the German Beer Scene

By Stephen Fuchs on Email @StephenWFuchs

During a recent episode of Deutsch Welle’s Euromaxx series, a 5 minutes piece did a pretty good job at giving viewers a look into Germany’s famous yet complex beer scene. The video explained the various types of beer you’ll find produced in the country and in what region each one is more commonly found. With the little bit of history thrown in and an explanation of how the beer is made, the “Land of Beer” video is a must watch.

It won’t make you a beer expert, but I am sure you will find something in the video that you never knew before. For example, did you know that if you were to sample a new German beer every day, it would take you 13 years to try every single one? Check it out below to get your 5 minute lesson on the German beer scene.
