A Few Recent Changes Around German Pulse

By Stephen Fuchs on Email @StephenWFuchs

We are constantly evolving at German Pulse and as we get closer to our full site launch, there are some backend things that we are having to do to make the transition as seamless as possible. When we got started just over a year ago, we decided to have a Coming Soon landing page at GermanPulse.com and then a separate GermanPulse.com/blog where all the content appeared. As we’ve grown, the term “blog” just didn’t seem to fit the content we are providing, and the news we publish has become a major focus of German Pulse. So today we have officially removed the “Coming Soon” landing page and moved the news content of our site to appear at GermanPulse.com instead of GermanPulse.com/blog.

Our goal is to make this transition as seamless as possible, and any links that pointed to the old blog URL are automatically redirected to the correct address. Any bookmarks or links you made to German Pulse should automatically redirect, but we still recommend that you update any bookmarks that you’ve created. If you come across anything that seems to not be working properly on our site, please contact us by using our contact form or emailing [email protected].

Our New RSS Feed

If you are currently staying up to date with our latest posts through our RSS feed, please note that the feed has changed. Please update your feed address to http://feeds.feedburner.com/GermanPulse. After looking at several options, we have decided to use Google’s Feedburner service so that user’s can choose to receive our RSS feed by email. We want to make it as easy as possible for you to stay up to date with the content we are writing, so having the ability to get those updates by email is great for our readers that don’t use one of our social network pages or an RSS reader. ¬†Just click on the RSS icon on our site and select “Get German Pulse delivered by email” on the page that appears if you want the daily email update.
