Visit Germany & France at the Same Time in Washington D.C. This Weekend

As a part of the EU Embassies’ Open House Day in Washington D.C. this Saturday, the German and French embassy are teaming up to host a special event for the public. Visitors will have the opportunity to experience the culture of both countries by trying out a three-course prix-fixe lunch of both German and French food, have a drink in the beer garden, and listen to traditional music. There are also activities for kids, so you can bring the entire family. Before you leave, you’ll have the chance to learn a little German or French with free lessons.

The other EU embassies will be providing similar experiences, so you can fill up your Saturday by experiencing many different cultures without leaving the country. Due to the renovations underway at the German embassy, the German/French experience will be at the French embassy located at 4101 Reservoir Road in Northwest DC from 10am to 4pm. Check out the source link for more details.
