MCDONALD'S GERMANY BURGERS

The Pretzelnator Becomes McDonald’s Latest Menu Item in Germany

By Stephen Fuchs on Email @StephenWFuchs

For the second year now, McDonald’s Germany has given fans the opportunity to create and vote for the next original creation to appear on the menu at all 1,415 locations in Germany, and this year’s first place winner has Germany written all over it.  Over 330,000 recipes were created and 5 million votes were cast, but the ultimate winner was the Pretzelnator which consists of a pretzel bread bun with sour cream, onions, lettuce, schinken, hard cheese, beef, and cheddar cheese.  What more could you expect from a German creation?

If you have a desire to try this unique burger, you don’t have a lot of time to book your ticket to Germany.  The Pretzelnator will only be on the menu from April 26 to May 2.  After that, four other finalists will have their burgers appear on the menu for a short time as well, and if you look back at last year’s results, each one will surely become an instant bestseller.
