German Embassy Shares the Christmas Spirit on the Streets of DC

By Stephen Fuchs on Email @StephenWFuchs

The German Embassy is at it once again in Washington DC with their annual Christmas buses.  Three Metrobuses in the DC area have been decorated in a festive gold and red design that carry the traditional German Christmas greeting of “Frohe Weihnachten” and the more universal “Season’s Greetings.”  These decorative buses allow the German Embassy to share the spirit of Christmas with the residents of our nation’s capitol with a little German flair.

Similar to the Embassy’s other decorative buses, there is a “Spot the Bus” contest where you take a picture of the bus and share it with the Embassy at www.germany.info.  Everyone that shares a qualifying photo receives a free Germany.info Christmas ornament.  If you don’t live in the DC area, the buses are also making an appearance online, so if you find the bus you can take a screenshot of the page and send it in.

The full contest information and instructions on how to submit your photo is available at www.Germany.info
