Featured Album: Invictus

German rapper Fard has recently released his newest album Invictus and he has continued his tradition of incorporating issues such as poverty and cultural differences, including a somewhat unusual fear for foreigners (he happens to be of Iranian descent). His songs take you on a journey through his apparent struggles with the way he sees the world around him.

Invictus is a well produced rap album that has a complete sound with catchy beats.  You won’t find his lyrics hard to follow as the pacing isn’t too fast, and while all the songs are in German, you should still be able to find enjoyment in this release if you aren’t fully fluent in the language.

Songs to check out: Endlich Helden, Seine Geschichte

You can preview the album using the player above.  If you like the album, an iTunes link is provided that will take you to the album. Your support of the German bands and musicians can help keep future releases coming to the US, and you can also financially support German Pulse when you download any of the music featured by using our provided link.  It’s a small amount but it helps.
