German Fest at Dairy Dogs

The German run Dairy Dogs in Sycamore, IL, will be holding their 2nd Annual German Fest on August 6th.  From 2pm to 10pm, visitors will enjoy fresh cooked German food prepared on the spot, including Veal Brats, Inboden’s Brats, Schnitzel, German Potato Salad, Baked Sauerkraut, and Margret’s famous Käse Spätlze.  Sounds delicious!  And of course there will be a bar for all those great adult goodies.

To go along with all the great German food and drink, there will be a German DJ playing your favorite German hits and the Egerländer Tanz Gruppe to demonstrate traditional German dances.  For the young ones, there will be some magic and balloon artistry to keep them entertained.  There will also be a booth displaying a wide selection of German Souvenirs for purchase.

Dairy Dogs may look small on the outside, but they go all out when it comes to sharing their German roots.  If you’re in the area on August 6th, check it out.  Some of us from German Pulse will be there so don’t be afraid to say hi!
