Waking up the German American community

I can’t begin to count the number of times I have been involved in a discussion on what can be done to bring new life into the German American community.  We all know that the once thriving German American community is not what it used to be and there are many excuses thrown around as to why that is.  The problem is that we come up with every reason we can think of but don’t act upon a solution.  Today, I am willing to take on that task!  German Pulse is here to wake up and bring new life to the German American community!

This site is still in its beginning stages and there are big things planned in the near future.  To be honest, the plan was to wait with this blog until the full site was ready to go, but the German American community has waited too long for some change.  So you may be asking yourself “what am I going to find here?” The answer is “a little bit of everything.” German Pulse will provide you with interesting news, reviews, thoughts, and more with a overall focus on things German and German American.  In the future, German Pulse will hopefully evolve into a growing community of people wanting to connect with their German heritage and bring new ways to bring the German American community back to a thriving state.

Now, I realize this is a big task to take on, but I hope German Pulse will be able to inspire others to start taking action.  In the coming weeks you will be hearing from other members of German Pulse and I hope some of our readers will want to join us in providing quality content.  With that, I couldn’t be more excited to officially kickoff German Pulse and I look forward to the future of this site.
